Banks’s Brewery teamed up with local Wolverhampton Charity Compton Care as sponsors of Round the Wrekin. The event took place on Sunday 20th May 2018 at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Football Club and was supported by cycling legend Hugh Porter MBE.

The event consisted of three cycle routes. The Epic cycle was 160 Km that takes you all the way round the Wrekin. The Standard cycle was 102 Km and the short cycle was 38 Km. Amie Cater, Assistant Brand Manager for Banks’s said ‘It’s great we can support Compton Care for a fantastic local event where participants enjoyed a pint or two of Banks’s at the end’.

The Banks’s sponsored event was supported with branding at the start and finish and of course the ability to rehydrate any competitors who needed a refreshing pint of Amber Bitter or Sunbeam at the end.
