Banks’s raises a Glass to Sponsorship Deal
Local beer brand Banks’s, toasted to the renewal of its longest sponsorship deal for the brand with Walsall Football Club; celebrating a partnership of over twenty years.
Marston’s Beer Company managing director, Richard Westwood and regional sales manager, Alastair Robinson joined Walsall FC chief executive, Stefan Gamble and two Walsall FC players; Kory Roberts and James O’Connor at Banks’s Stadium, to help raise a glass to the sponsorship.
Alastair Robinson, Regional Manager at Marston’s, said: “We are delighted to be in a position to continue to build the partnership with the club where our local brand fits perfectly and provides fans and customers at the stadium with their beer of choice.”
As part of the deal, Banks’s will continue to be the main beer supplier for the stadium, offering best sellers such as classic Banks’s Original and Amber Bitter. The stadium still proudly boasts the significant Banks’s lettering on the entrance as well as updating to the new Banks’s brand identity throughout.
Walsall Chief Executive, Stefan Gamble, added, “We’ve always enjoyed a close relationship with Banks’s and as one of our key commercial partners, their support for the football club has been fantastic over the years.
